A well organised new event at the end of the season, starting and finishing on the shores of beautiful Lake Annecy and exploring the hills of the Bauges National Park. 2 routes are available to ride: a 98km's event and a 130km's event. IMPORTANT For this event the organizers require a copy of a current racing licence or a letter from your doctor formally stating that there is no apparent medical reason which should preclude you from participating in an endurance cycling event. Alternatively go to www.sportsmedicalcertificates.co.uk for on-line medical certification. Please contact us if you need further help or advice on this subject.
Event Itinerary:
Day 1 (Fri & Sat 27th & 28th Sep): Alpine Rootz meet guests at either Geneva airport or Grenoble train station and transfer you to our hotel in Annecy.
Day 2 (Sat 28th Sep): Orientation ride with café stop for guests now with us. Alpine Rootz meet any more guests arriving at our arrival locations. Time permitting we also hope to arrange an orientation ride for newly arrived guests. We will also visit the event HQ for rider registration purposes. There will be an event briefing during the evening meal.
Day 3 (Sun 29th Sep): Early breakfast and travel to the event start. Ride the event and experience the post-event atmosphere. Evening meal and drinks. NB - if required we may be able to transfer guests to departure locations on Sunday evening depending upon specific transport departures times
Day 4 (Mon 30th Sep): Alpine Rootz transfer guests to departure locations.
Prices:
For this weekend we are offering 2 or 3-night, hotel half-board packages based on two persons sharing (includes bed, breakfast and evening meal).
Option A: 2 nights (Saturday & Sunday) - £399 per person (single room supplement £70)
Option B: 3 nights (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) - £499 per person (single room supplement £105)
* NB - Above prices include entry to event.
How to Book:
To secure your place in this event together with the support of Alpine Rootz, please print and complete our booking form and send it to us in conjunction with your medical note. We will arrange your place in the cyclosportive with the event organisers and send you confirmation of your booking with us within 7 days of receipt of your booking form with (please remember to read our terms & conditions before booking).
